Frequently Asked Questions

Is there an advantage to registering for CDA Presents online?
Yes! When you register online, you will be able to secure an immediate seat in any available ticketed course. You will also receive a confirmation number and a confirmation e-mail that you should keep. Registrations received via mail or fax must be processed in the order they are received, and they do not secure an immediate spot in courses.

When will I receive my badges?
You will receive your advance registration materials at least two weeks prior to the meeting. This includes all registrations completed by the published preregistration deadline via the internet, fax or mail. If you are a CDA member, membership dues must be paid for the current year to complete your registration.

How do I correct a misspelled badge?
Fax a copy of the badge to 877.714.3184 with the correction. Check your Preliminary Program or cdapresents.com for the deadline. You can also go to the Badge Correction Booth on-site.

What if I lose my badge?
There is a $10 on-site badge replacement fee. Replacement badges can be acquired at the Badge Correction Booth in the on-site registration area.

What if I have questions or concerns regarding registration?
Call CDA’s Contact Center toll-free at 800.CDA.Smile (232.7645).

What is CDA’s cancellation/refund policy?
Cancellations must be made in writing. Check the show Preliminary Program or cdapresents.com for the deadline. All requests should be mailed to the address on the registration form and include any badges or tickets. After the published deadline, refunds will not be given.

What do I need to bring to register on-site?
A photo I.D. and, if applicable, your ADA card, student I.D. or Dental Board license.

Can allied dental health professionals register without a dentist?
Yes. Member and nonmember registration fees will apply, as listed on the registration form.

How do I receive C.E. credit for attending a course?
Check the C.E. section of cdapresents.com or your Preliminary Program.

How can I contact someone attending the show?
CDA will have an electronic message center available at the Internet Café in The Spot for attendees to retrieve e-mail, check phone messages, and send and retrieve electronic messages to and from attendees.

How can I get restaurant information or make reservations?

Both shows have a restaurant desk in the convention center lobby to answer your questions and assist you with making reservations.

Will there be a coat/baggage check available?
Yes. Both meetings provide a coat/baggage/stroller check in the convention center for $2 per item. Check on-site information for locations.

Are children permitted in the exhibit hall and lectures?
For the safety and convenience of all attendees, children 10 and younger will only be permitted in the exhibit hall during family hours. CDA provides a wonderful child-care program at both meetings. Check your Preliminary Program or cdapresents.com for family hours and child care services. Children are not permitted in the lectures or workshops, and strollers are not permitted on the exhibit floor.
