Your chance to be heard.

Thank you for your interest in presenting at CDA Presents. CDA Presents is one of the top dental meetings in the country and we receive many speaking offers. Although it is certainly no reflection on the quality or content of the presentations, CDA cannot invite all of these perspective speakers. It is simply CDA’s policy to invite only speakers that have been scouted by our Board of Managers at other major dental meetings.

CDA offers an opportunity for speakers to be scouted at either the Anaheim or San Francisco CDA Presents meetings for 90-150 minute express or symposia lectures. Our meetings are planned up to 18 months in advance, with the programs selected according to central theme and issues most relevant to the profession at the time.

Speakers selected to present will receive notification if accepted. Presenters are provided with an honorarium of $400, and are expected to pay their own travel and lodging expense.

If you are interested in submitting an application for consideration, please submit course information, which will be forwarded to the future meeting essay chair for review.

On behalf of the California Dental Association and the Board of Managers, we wish you much success in your speaking career.

Conflict of Interest Declaration

A conflict of interest may be considered to exist if a continuing dental education speaker is affiliated with, or has a financial interest in any organization(s) that may be co-supporting a course or may have a direct interest in the subject matter of the presentation. The intent of this policy is not to prevent a speaker with an affiliation or financial interest from making a presentation. It is intended that any potential conflict be identified openly so that the attendees have the full disclosure of the facts and may own their own judgments about the presentation.

Conflict of Interest Declaration

I understand that, if the BOM accepts this proposal, I will be invited to present a 90-150 minute session at a future CDA Presents meeting in either Anaheim or San Francisco. I agree to pay my own transportation and lodging and accept the Board's honorarium of $400.
